of cover, subscribers using less expensive handsets do not subsidise

to each and every loss depending on the type of claim and the number
of claims you've made.
Bands
of cover and monthly premiums
The bands of cover and the monthly premiums are as follows:
- Vodasure Band 1 (cover up to R 1 000.00) - R 33/month
- Vodasure Band 2 (cover up to R 2 500.00) - R 49/month
- Vodasure Band 3 (cover up to R 5 000.00) - R 79/month
- Vodasure
Band 4 (cover up to R 7 500.00) - R 109/month
Vodasure Band 5 (cover up to R 12 000.00) - R 149/month
If
a phone (ANY phone) is more expensive than R 7 500.00, Vodasure will
only cover the first R 7 500.00.
Laptop Insurance
Cellucity and Vodacom now offers insurance on laptops - the monthly premium is determined by the replacement cost therefore select Band 4 or 5.
Important: insurance does not cover the reconstruction or recovery of data.
When requesting insurance, we will require the model number of the laptop and if it is an embedded laptop, we need the Embedded IMEI. For customers using USB or 3G card modems, please include this IMEI. Contract customers can sign the New Policy at any Cellucity store and should you be unfortunate to suffer a loss, Cellucity can replace the lost/stolen/damaged Laptop from any store in record time once the claim has been approved by Vodacom.
Excesses

First claim: 10% of new replacement value with a minimum of R 300.00

Second claim: 10% of new replacement value with a minimum of R 750.00

Third claim: 10% of new replacement value with a minimum of R 1 000.00

In the case of liquid/ water damage, an additional R 500.00 excess is payable, above and beyond the excesses listed above.

Repair damage: R 150.00 flat fee, but if there is further repairable damage within 12 months after the previous repair, this amount increase to R 300.00

If a claim occurs within 30 days of the inception (start) of the policy, an additional R 300.00 excess is payable, above and beyond the excesses list above,but this does not apply to new contracts.
